Living Nature Liquid Mineral Foundation
Living Nature New Zealand recently sent me their Living Nature Liquid Mineral Foundation, tinted moisturize and concealer to trial as a professional hair & makeup artist and I have to say, I was very impressed with the results!
As a professional, cruelty-free hair and natural, mineral makeup artist, I am always on the lookout for new, natural, mineral makeup products to work with and when I find products I like, I love getting the word out there.
So many woman still think that the only decent makeup products are the ones that are full of synthetic ingredients and tested on animals and I can tell you as a professional, this is a completely false presumption and you can get incredible and professional results using 100% natural cosmetic products.
The packaging was the first thing to get my tick of approval! The boxes are made from cardboard from renewable forests and are free of toxins, chlorine and bleaches and they are also completely recyclable. The tubes and bottles are also all recyclable, so they also get an eco tick of approval. All 3 mineral cosmetic products contained pure, Macadamia, Jojoba and Avocado oils, as well as vitamin E and contain Living Natures signature key ingredient, sustainably, harvested Manuka Honey, along with a blend of essential oils, that work together synergistically , offering antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties to help repair inflamed skin and heal skin outbreaks.
All Living Nature’s products are completely natural and made using predominately native, indigenous to New Zealand, plant ingredients. They are accredited cruelty-free and while not vegan, the only animal ingredients are Manuka Honey, Beeswax and Lactose.
Living Nature’s Concealer -Light
The Living Nature Concealer cream, offers great coverage in a highly moisturizing base, to nourish and protect the delicate eye area.
It is highly pigmented mineral concealer, so you only need a tiny dot to cover dark circles, redness and any blemishes. I tried out the light tone concealer on some seriously dark under-eye circles and it covered and blended so well, that is was undetectable.
Living Nature’s Clear Lights Tinted Moisturiser – Evening Light
I absolutely loved this product and the shade Evening Light was perfect for giving my skin a warm, sun-kissed glow. It offers decent, but very natural, coverage and is a nice warm, yellow-base ( no pink tones at all). It is super hydrating and again the addition of Manuka Honey, Tea Tree and other essential oils work to keep your skin soothed, soft and blemish free.
Living Nature’s Soft Lights Illuminating Foundation – Evening Glow
This liquid foundation is sheer and feels absolutely beautiful on the skin. I know it sounds cliche, but it made my skin glow. It evened out my complexion and added a warm tanned tone, while at the same time leaving my skin looking natural and fresh.
This is the perfect foundation for those who want a sheer, foundation that looks incredibly natural and also adds nourishing oils to the skin to keep it looking youthful and supple.
