Kelapa Organic Coconut Face Moisturiser With Sunscreen
There are very few natural sunscreen products that are not only vegan friendly, but that also don’t leave behind a ghostly white film all over your face. I can honestly say that Kelapa Organic Coconut Face Moisturiser With Sunscreen, keeps your face refreshingly ghost-free, soft and hydrated.
Initially I was a little dubious as to how well this cream would actually absorb into my skin. As when I first opened the tube, I noticed that this cream was just as white as all the other natural, zinc oxide based sunscreens that I had previously tried. However, the moment I rubbed it into my face, it immediately absorbed in completely! Cliche I know, but my skin was left feeling beautifully soft and silky, and thankfully with none of that heavy, greasy sunscreen feel.
Another positive is that as it is a a lovely, non-greasy facial sunscreen, it will work well to protect your skin when applied under your makeup.
Kelapa Organic Face Moisturizer has a SPF15 rating. It uses pure, nanoparticle free, Zinc Oxide. Zinc Oxide sunscreens offer a physical barrier, rather than a chemical sun barrier to the sun’s UV rays, and this makes it a much safer option.
*There have been studies done on chemical sunscreens, showing that some of the ingredients they contain, actually photosynthesise in the sun to produce a toxic reaction. Read Dangers Of Toxic Sunscreens
Kelapa Organic Face Moisturizer is not only free of toxic ingredients, but contains 100% natural ingredients including; skin nourishing Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vit E, Aloe Vera and essential oils/extracts of Lavender, Rosehip, Sandalwood, Rosemary, Vanilla and Almond.
