FODMAP Friendly, Vegan and Sugar Free Quinoa Porridge
This recipe is a simple, yet delicious, high protein, organic, FODMAP friendly, vegan and sugar free quinoa porridge. This porridge will get your day off to a great nutritional, high energy start.
It is also a great alternative to those of you who love porridge but find oats hard to digest.
Ingredients
1 cup of organic quinoa flakes
1-2 cups of either organic coconut, almond or rice milk. Or you can use filtered water
3/4 tsp of organic cinnamon
1/2 tsp of organic cardamon
1/4 tsp of Himalayan salt
1/4 cup of chopped almonds, walnuts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.
Method
In a stainless steel pot heat the quinoa flakes together with your choice of vegan milk and the salt.
Stir continuously until the porridge thickens and is hot and creamy.
Pour into a bowl and then mix through spices and seeds.
Now simply sit down and enjoy the taste and aroma of this sweetly, spiced porridge.
