Coconut Oil, Chia Seed and Cacao Raw Bubble Slice Recipe

These healthier chocolate crackles ensures you will be getting Omega 3’s, Calcium, Antioxidants and other healthy nutrients into your kids and they won’t even have a clue they are eating something that is healthy!
I love being able to offer you healthy, vegetarian recipes and all the ingredients aligned with my belief that organic and pure is definitely the healthiest option. This is also a raw food chocolate bubble bar recipe, so all the goodness and nutrition is not boiled or baked away.

Okay enough information now the fun bit!
How to Make Chia, Raw Cacao Bubble Bars
All good health food shops will stock these ingredients
2 cups of organic puffed quinoa
1 cup of organic puffed millet
2/3 cup of organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil
1/3 cup of organic maple syrup
1/4 cup of boiling hot water
1/4- 1/3 cup of organic cacao powder – depending on how rich you want it
1/2 – 1 cup of Chia seeds. If you like you can use linseed/flaxseed instead of Chia or you can combine the two.
1/3 cup of organic shredded coconut
This recipe is super fast to make. It takes 10 minutes.
First combine all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Then in a separate measuring jug melt down your coconut oil by adding in your 1/4 cup of boiling hot water. Once melted add in the maple syrup.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing together thoroughly till well combined.
Now you can either grease with a little coconut oil, or line with eco-friendly baking paper (available from health food stores), a large, shallow baking dish; e.g a Pyrex, glass lasagne dish is perfect.
Press the mixture down very firmly into the dish with your hands, making sure that it is tightly packed in and pop in the fridge for a few hours to set.
Cut with a very sharp knife into squares and store in a safe, air-tight, plastic (PP no.5 ), or glass container in the fridge for a few days.
