Furless Cosmetics Professional Vegan Cosmetics Brushes
Having been a professional, cruelty free hair and makeup artists for 25 years now, I know a thing or two about cosmetic brushes, and I am hear to say it plain and clear, YOU DON’T EVER NEED TO USE ANIMAL HAIR BRUSHES! Furless Cosmetics professional vegan cosmetics brushes, are some of the very best pro-makeup artist quality brushes that I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
Their range is seriously huge! The softness and pliability of each brush is beautiful and every bit as good as those cruelly obtained, animal hair brushes. There is no such thing as humane mink or sable hairs. Read more info here .
What I loved about the Furless professional vegan cosmetics brushes that I have trialed so far, is the way the bristles hold the makeup. This includes loose mineral cosmetic products, which I use as a mainstay in my kit.
Furless Cosmetics haven’t scrimped on quality at all. They wanted to make a range of brushes that would work for professionals, so they have taken extra care to ensure that their brushes are actually superior to animal hair brushes.
Furless even go so far as to crimp each strand of synthetic brush hair, to mimic a natural animal hair. Crimping the bristles allows the makeup to adhere to the brush better and allow for smoother more even application. I also and love the fact that they constantly remain super soft, unlike animal fur brushes, which loose their natural oils and start to feel prickly.
I can honestly highly recommend these brushes to not only makeup lovers, but to all the professional makeup artists too.
Furless Cosmetics strive to be as eco-friendly as possible. They are mindful when packaging and posting their products. They also have an eco-friendly, bamboo handle range. Their brush ferrules are made from aluminum and so are able to be recycled.
Yes the brush bristles are synthetic, so they are not 100% eco, but, you may be surprised to know that animal fur is anything but eco-friendly. There are the polluting, chemical processes that animal fur needs to go through before it can be used in a makeup brush. Also the cost on the environment and the disturbance to the eco-balance, of farming animals for their fur, is anything but green. The most important thing is that the cruelty involved is unbelievable.
Furless Cosmetics is an Australian company that is vegan friendly and accredited by Choose Cruelty Free.
